There is a new project online.
You will find a description about how to modifiy any common GMRS/FRS/PMR/LPD UHF 2-way radio into a long range radio controller for model airplanes/cars.
For now only the additional hardware description is only.
Later I will show how to modify a Midland G7XT and Cobra PR3175 for long range radio control.

It seems more and more people having problems to open my downloadable ZIP files.
Almost all my ZIPs are created with WinRAR and they will open fine using it.
But maybe Windows build-in ZIP or WinZIP having problems and telling the files are corrupt, so try WinRAR then.
All files will be fixed as soon as possible.
[Update]
All ZIP files are repacked now with 7zip.
Please report missing files or files still corrupted.

Yesterday I was able to verify the design of my Logper Antenna (LPDA) with a different Vector Network analyzer.
From 800MHz up to 3GHz the VSWR is well below 2.0:1 which means the antenna is very broadband.
See also the Logper page for more details.
